I'm just wondering if anybody has used the TBXKEY module and how it differs from the 556u module.  I have a customer that im working with, and the 556u crapped out...it's not sending the signal to allow it to bypass and therefore remote start.  Did all my troubleshooting and narrowed it down to that.  Im replacing it with a TBXKEY unit, but the wires are in different locations from the 556u module.  I of course then checked the manual and it does list the wires in the same locations as the 556u.  The wires that came with the TBX module are also different colors.  It does have the green, violet, blue, black and red wires, but also comes with a brown wire (instead of pink).  The harnesses are the same and do fit into each other's ports, but I'm hesitant to just connect them as the wire colors are in different locations and i don't want to fry anything.  Does anybody know if all the pins are in the same location between both modules and did I just get a funky harness?

thanks for the responses.

it wires up the same and operates the same... Red, Black & Blue.....  it uses the same harness as the TBKV.... the TBXKEY replaces the 556U & TBKV which are disco'd.....
