I installed a Valet 562T in my wife's 2005 Suzuki Aerio. I spent most of the weekend systematically looking for the correct wires and it is almost working. I get voltage on the Starter Wire but the motor doesn't crank. I have a feeling it's because I am supposed connect both the Starter wires.
The Wiring Information:
Starter BLACK/ red or BLACK / YELLOW + ignition harness
If I am supposed to connect both can I use the "Second Ignition Output" from the satellite relays.
Secondly for the tach sense wire can I attach it to the one in the back of the instrument panel? I measured it and voltage ranges between 6.9-7.1v and 20-110Hz depending on rpm of the motor.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

I tried again today to install the start and I'm at the end of my rope.
I can't find the correct tach wire and have not clue how to connect the second starter wire (which I assume is stopping the car from starting). I read something about a additional relay but don't know how to connect it.
The Wiring Information says:
Starter BLACK/ red or BLACK / YELLOW + ignition harness
Tachometer NOT BLACK/ white or black ac any ignition coil
I've connect the tach wire to the ignition coil (as suggested) and the wire in the back of the instrument panel and still cannot not learn the tach signal.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

those dont have a second starter wire its BLACK/ white OR BLACK / YELLOW it should be one of those colors did you test the wires before connecting ? any uncommon side of a fuel injector should work fine for a tach signal do you have your ing wire and acc wires mixed up ? thats a straight foward car to do
Batt- WHITE/ Green
ING- Green
ACC-Yellow/Black
STARTER-BLACK/ White OR BLACK / YELLOW
TEST BEFORE CONNECTING ANYTHING
the only other thing i can think of is im not sure about the valet models but i know alot of DEI stuff has a Netural Saftey wire that must see ground in order to remote start im assuming its an automatic so this wire could just go to ground or i usually put it to a switch use it as a remote start kill i do alot of Avaital Systems (product of DEI) The wire on that model is BLACK/ White
------------- If i Can't Install it I Don't need it Joe

Thanks for the input. I had connected the wrong wire as the starter, it was supposed to be the BLACK/ red but I connected it to the ACC (yellow/black).
I'm using voltage sense to get it to start and I've had no problems. If there are I'll think about connecting the tach wire.
Next think I need to do is connect the remote locks.
