Are this two companies related in any way? Their units look the same and
use the same type of plugs and even the shape on the brains and antenna. Is one company manufacturing the units for the other?

Yes.

They are not. Autopage is owned by Iwata Electric Co. of Tokyo, Japan. Audiovox is the parent company of Advent, RCA, Acoustic Research, Code Alarm, Jensen and more....

I too vote no. We sell both products and they are in no way connected.

Oops. I should have stated that the modules are definately related. They are made from the same production design. Two questions were asked. I more or less answered the last. I'm sorry for the confusion.
