looking to add a cl100 and caugm to a 08 silverado,need to find a trip or neg. input wire to activate the factory remote start,any ideas

There won't be a (-) activation on the factory remote start; it's all done via data.

Does the CAUGM perhaps have a data output which connects to the vehicle for that purpose as well as lock/unlock? Code Alarm doesn't show a manual for the CAUGM on their site, so I don't know more about it.

If it has (-) outputs only for RS/keyless, you could probably use a 1701G to do what you need.
