I have installed this remote start in a 2000 dodge neon, I can only get it to work if i put the key in the on positon and then hit the start button on the remote.. if i try to use it without the key, the remote start will activate but the starter will not engage.. and help would be greatly appreciated..

It's got the gray Sentry Key, right?

What are you using to interface with the car's Sentry Key anti-theft system, if anything?

How many keys for the car do you have?
