Hi Everyone,

i did a search and didnt find any info about this truck. I came across similiar trucks but want to be sure the wiring will be the same. Would anyone have this info-ill be installing a remote start/security on it. I also want to hook up the heated seats as well. Which by pass system is best used?

Bypass i was thinking about?

AT-PKF3 or 556U which one is better?

The Fx was just a trim level. The wiring is standard F-150 location & colors. You can find them in the "vehicle wiring" section of this site.

I Have the memory seat wires if you want them. Heated seats will take some research.

All i see is 2005 or 2007....which one will be the closest? Did Ford change any wiring between these years?

Memory Seat- what would you hook that up to?

Yeah im still trying to find info on heated seats.

Their the same.

Memory seats (if truck is equipted) could be Aux one & two. Memory 1 is neg pulse, BROWN / lightgreen.. Memory 2 is BLACK/ orange (again, negitive pulse). Harness under seat. Not easy to get to. Can try @ switch on door also (not sure colors are the same @ door).

Can't promise heated seat wires. I'll look.

I used the 556sw bypass and it program instantly after resolving my original issues with the actual remote starter. The wiring diagrams here and on bulldogsecurity.com were right on with every wire and bulldog had good pictures. Looked under F150 light duty. Helped a great deal. Grabbed the tach on an injector closer to the passenger side. White wire.

The truck only came with 1 key? how can i get around this since i cant program another key or use a bypass that requires 2 keys to program?

you could go to your local locksmith and get a key cloned...and then use the "key in the coffin". thats what we usuall do around here if the customer doesnt have a second key....its cheaper than getting one made at the dealer...

i think every bypass you use for that year of truck will require 2 keys....ive had to do it on every body style like that...

Yeah the more i read the more it came evident that all by pass kits for this model needed 2 keys to program.

Ill have to check out a local lock smith.

yeah man thats prolly your best bet...plus the bypass modules can be a pain.....the key in the coffin (556uw) is the easiest solution and cheapest in your case...i think its expensive at the dealership to get one made....at least thats what ive heard.....its like 50 bucks to get one cloned around here....

How about that new one PKU-F2?

That one needs no key and it just has Tx/Rx wires for the transponder disable? I know i still need 2 keys i think but i hear its reliable and eliminate having to stick a key under the dash?

yeah but if you do that then youll need to get a key from the dealer because if you clone a key..technically its the same key twice....the reason you ned 2 keys for the bypass is because it needs to read 2 different valid codes for the vehicle

haha yeah man i learned that one the hard way..when the bypasses for those trucks came out i spent like an hour trying to program it and then i figured that it was because the key was cloned....lol....thats time ill never get back!...i love xk bypasses...but if you dont have 2 keys..the 556uw will be the cheapest/easiest way to accomplish this....especially in your case....if you dont have anyone to consult during the install..those bypasses can be a pain in the ass if something goes wrong...

Yeah i am looking at the cheapest scenerio...currently i have the key in coffin bypass in my vehicle and its worked fine for 4 yrs- so im not worried about it not working. I just would like to have 2 keys someday lol. but its not a big deal i guess. Im suppose to be picking this Truck up possibly by thursday and who knows it might have 2 keys with it. They currently said they only have 1 but ya know how it goes they probably misplaced the other one!

Ill let you know if i run into problems LOL

Ill be installing the viper 5901
