Hello everyone, I tried a search and came up blank.

I am trying to get a remote start installed on my Suburban.

It is a design tech, two way remote.
The unit powers up, arms and disarms, I can get into the programming features ect.

I used a wiring diagram from here, used ign2 (white)and starter (yellow) but 'burb won't crank by remote.

It doesn't have any "special" security, No VATS or passkey.

Thoughts?
Thanks,,
Tom

Ok folks,, been really busy and haven't had anytime to post, or work on the Suburban. I was able to get it to crank, but not fire. I am guessing I have to connect the remote starter to BOTH ign 1 AND ign 2? I have the control unit out of the car now and am starting it with the key.

Thanks,
Tom

Yes, you have to power up the Ign 1 (pink) wire as well.

You also have to power up the accessory wire as well if you want the AC/heater to come on with remote start.
