Can someone please provide me with a source for a automatic headlights kit?  The headlights do not come on at night in my G/F's 06' Pilot like they did in her last two vehicles.  Unfortunately the dash lights DO come on at night which makes her think her headlights are on when they really aren't.  I would like a kit that has some smarts to it, I.E. a photoelectric sensor of some kind and the ability to differentiate  between dusk/dark and a tree lined street.

Otherwise I was maybe thinking I would tap in to the feed that turns the dash lights on at night and run that to a relay. In turn I could turn the headlights on with the relay.    If Honda went through the trouble of putting a system in the car to turn the dash lights on at night I can't figure why they didn't make it turn the headlights on as well.

Thanks!

Audiovox and DEI both made just what you want. Not sure if they still make them or not. But they had the photocell and everything.

I don't remember any part numbers though

Also, go on eBay and put in "automatic headlights" they have a couple of things there.

yeah I had found evidence that DEI made one, but there's no history of it on their website.  Not even achieved schematics.  I also checked EBAY and the only one I liked shipped from somewhere in the middle east.     I will go to the audiovox website and see what they have, thanks!
