 Got a ca501 remote start put in now with key start fires up runs a bit & dies, seems like a bit of grind at first try- Runs for a matter of seconds!  Think I'll have 'em take it off if they can't figure it out! Cna't drive it! Keith in cold Kansas

did you power both ignitions for the car.
Black ign 1
BLACK / YELLOW (small) ign 2.
Also what bypass module did you use?

If you can, I would check to make sure all the connections to the ignition wires are sound. Some are very thin & could have broken in half if soldered onto. It happened to me once on that same vehicle.

If not soldered, you may just have a poor connection.

Bit of grind, dies- sounds like a tach issue. An immobilzer problem is out as it wouldn't start at all.
