I have just installed a Viper remote start in my 240sx. It functions but not completely. When its cold or it sits for a while car will crank but will not start. I have read some info on the second start wire. Can some one please give me more details on this, and how do i hook it up. Thanks

according to my installation guides

you have to have an output from the R/S, set for starter,

what color is the second strt wire. now does that wire only need to be powered when starting? or does it need to be on when ignition is on.

it is BLACK/ white and needs to be powered just as the primary start wire, not all the time like an ignition wire.
