is the 08 wiring the same as the 09? im assuming so, but would like to make sure.

I read on here you can grab locks in the drivers kick, negative pulse

other forums say you need a data interface for locks (fortin can sl2)

customer already has remote start/keyless unit. i plan on using one of his emergency keys in a keybox, hopefully grabbing locks in the kick, and calling it a day. only other little thing you gotta do is open up the "keysense circuit" correct?

For push to start systems: Use a 556U and one OEM TX with battery removed. If you leave battery in TX then car will not start because it would require pressing the start knob - don't use 1101T.

Lock = WHITE/ Black (-) in brown plug in driver's kick.          Unlock = RED / Tan (-) in brown plug in driver's kick.

Some Outlanders don't have wires for factory alarm arm/disarm. In that case the alarm arms on lock with the door open, and disarms with ignition and the keysense wire being cut.
