I have a Viper 5701 installed on a 07 Tundra with the 'smart start on low battery' feature enabled, the default setting is 10.5 volts. This seems a little low in that I'm thinking if the battery gets down to 10.5 volts it may not have enough juice to start the engine. What is the recommended setting for this feature on a truck that has to crank a large V8 engine?

BTW, I have a bitwriter.

With the vehicle in a place where you can easily charge the battery or jump it off.   Continue turning the lights on or whatever you can do to get the voltage low enough for the feature to activate.  If the truck is not able to start itself, set it to 11 volts.
