1993 cadillac deville, 4.9 v8 engine the digital cluster is not displaying bought the car from a kid who pulled out the factory radio and from there the cluster stopped display cannot figure out the problem

Some of the old GM radios had the circuit in them to control the flourescent displays in the rest of the dash. Removing the radio usually only meant that the displays wouldn't dim with the rest of the dash lights though. You should check to see if any fuses are blown or if any of the radio wiring was modified and causing the problem.
