I would like to know if someone could answer a question about  a remote starter problem i am having with a 2003 ford f150. Ihave it all hooked up correctly and it will work fine when the engine is warmed up but will not crank over long enough when the engine is cold.Ihave the tack wire hooked up but i cannot seem to program it. I have a read a post that says the tack wire on this truck is a blue/green on the coil pack on top of the engine. However i cant find any thing on top. Ido have the coil on the passenger side of the engine with the correct color wire to it .What i am wondering is this the correct place for the tack wire or am i missing something and it is on top of the engine? It is the 4.2 engine  Thanks

i have plug wires on this vehicle. I have also tried to learn the tack signal by programing the remote but it will not learn it . Iwas thinking maybe trying to tap off one of the fuel injectors as maybe i am not picking up a signal
