HELP plz. I just installed(tried to install) a car alarm in my truck. When I finished and reconnected the battery terminal, everything went nuts. I mean it all worked like its supposed to...the lights flashed, siren went off, etc...but I could not get it to stop. So right now the negative terminal on my battery is disconnected and i am stuck. What would be causing it to do this? I did not think it would go off if it was not armed. I tried the remote and the valet switch to stop it but just ended up having to disconnect it. Please help, thanks,

When ever you reconnect power to an alarm it will go off. Just arm and disarm after you connect the power. If that doesn't work hold the valet switch and start the car.

I guess you were right...I armed and disarmed and that loud as hell siren shut up. All is good now. My locks and everything are working, hooray! My 2 straight days of connecting wires wasn't a total loss. Thanks a lot man!
