i have an  audiovox aps 255 alarm, and would like to add a new remote to the system , could anyone help me with some info on this please.

Turn ignition on.

Press & release the program/valet switch 3 times.

Press & hold, for 3 seconds, the "lock" button on the transmitter you wish to add until the parking lights flash & the siren chirps, indicating the system has learned. Repeat on the original transmitter & all other transmitters.

Press & release the valet sw. again. Press "unlock" on each transmitter until you hear the chirp & flash the parking lights.

Press & release the valet switch again. Press the 3rd button each transmitter until you hear the chirp & the lights flash. 

Shut off ignition.

You must do everything as quickly as you can (You have only 15 seconds every time you hit the valet switch)
