I've had this installed on my truck for about three years. All of the sudden now when I hit the brake the truck doesn't shut off after being remote started. Also the light continues to flash even after the key has been installed in the ignition. The truck is a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Any suggestions?

look at the brake light switch and check to see if the brake shut down wire is still connected.
