Hi everyone. Just joined here. Looks like some great info.

I just bought a 2006 Nissan Armada with a remote starter and the previous owner did not leave the starter keyfob, so I went to my local dealer and he told me to buy a 903 remote for the system. Does anyone know how to program the keyfob on this model?

Thanks!

Should be simple as .... find the brain under the dash. all of the little dip switches should be in the down posistion. put #8 in the UP direction, hit the foot brake 1 time.

The brain should "click" hit the unlock on the TX, put #8 down, hit the foot brake. Should be done!

Thanks! Don't need the key in ignition or turned on or anything? I'll try it as soon as the wife gets home.

Update - got the brain to recognize the remote and the unlock function works, but the start function doesn't. The starter turns but the engine doesn't turn over. Then, when I try to start with the key, same thing happens, until I step on the brake pedal, then engine turns over. Why won't it turn over with the remote start?

After researching, I'm thinking it has something to do with the Nissan immobilizer that isn't letting it turn over. I just put the key in the ignition, and it starts fine with the remote starter. Now I need to figure out how to bypass the immobilizer. It must have worked before with the previous owner...
