I'm looking for average pay rates for Provinces and cities in Canada(No U.S.A., not that I'm excluding you, I just don't have any plans of crossing the boarder...) Looking mainly for Installer pay rates for security, remote starts, and general audio....If you live in Canada, please reply, you don't have to give your exact rate just generalize....thanks.....

Hey tech_advice ;

In Manitoba the rates range from $ 35.00 - $ 45.00 /hour ( rural ) to $ 40.00 - $ 55.00 /hour ( larger cities ). All rates are usually negotiable with the customer as most of our installation rates are based on individual jobs that have a fixed rate of installation costs. The customer just has to pay for any extras that they wish to purchase or add onto the fixed rate.
