Have to install an auto start on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder and it has a factory immobilizer. I have a keyoverride all bypass unit but it lists for vehicle 01 onwards. There is no listing of a 2000 from fortin electronics system(i far.ca) The customer only has one key and does not want to buy another one so i cannot do the universal type. Is the 01 same as 00 or are they totally different. Thanks

2001 is the first year for one on the Pathfinder, you sure it has one? Nissan has a record of using the same parts over and over again certainly it is the same immobilizer....

bypasskits list one but you need two keys to program

tell him if he dosn't want to spring for a key

to leave the key in the ignition

they usually give you a sideways look and then there brain clicks in and they spring for the key
