could i hook up system capacitor into my alarm wiring so it'll go off 4 that lil extra time ? i heard it might give to much volts and could possibly fry stuff... i'm looking for a cheap easy kinda thing because moneys tight and i know it is for everybody so the worse ti gets the more ppl are gonna steal car/parts

You can get a back up battery or back up battery alarm. Both would do the trick and stay on in the case that a theif cuts off power.

A capacitor can not give any more voltage than the amount of voltage it was charged with. If your alternator charged it it will be no more than your battery voltage. I just don't see even a 1 farad cap giving you more than 15 seconds of extra siren time. I too vote for the backup battery or siren.
