Does anybody know if the dei 8616 mini relay is diode or resistor suppressed. I don't want to add a suppression diode if it is already taken care of. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure but, I highly doubt it given its' miniature size.

No but if you're worried, add a diode accross the red and black wires anyway.
