If you get a remote start unit that is made for a manual transmission, we will be glad to help you.  I know you are going to leave it in neutral all the time, but all of the stories I have heard about remote start mishaps, all of them said the same exact thing.  I am not going to help you pin some old lady up against the trunk of her car while she is attempting to put her groceries in.

i had a friend that ran himself over after doing what you you would like someone here to help you do, while he was showing a friend "how cool his remote start was". luckily he wasnt killed or hurt seriously. we laugh and make fun of what a moron he was. and now its a funny story but it could have been sad and tragic.

A guy the worked with us had a unit on his 5 series Beamer, he started it one morning and went outside to find his car was gone.  He followed the tire tracks in the frost and found his car in the woods.  It hit the tree so hard that the passenger wheel was against the firewall.  It was not an economical repair.
