Vehicle is a 2005 Lincoln Aviator.  Installing a DEI Python 872.

Most of the install is complete but I have come up with a couple of issues I'm working to resolve.  Thanks in advance for any help.  If the vehicle is remote started, I get a ABS and traction control error lights in the dash.  Even once the key takes over, I still have the errors until the vehicle is shut off and started with the key.  I am thinking I need to energize another accessory wire in the ignition harness to give the ABS/traction control systems power prior to startup.  Does anyone know if I am very far off track on that?  None of the diagrams I have found show any other accessory wires that need connected other than what I have so far.

Other question is:  Vehicle running with key in ignition, and I take over with RS, I cannot turn the key to lock and remove the key.  I have researched this a little and have found talk of interupting the key sense.  I am sure this is done with a relay, but I'm not understanding exactly what this is going to do.  Does the keysense circuit need to be interupted for the ignition cylinder to turn to lock, or am I needing to energize the circuit to "trick" it into thinking the key is still there?

Hopefully I'm not too far off on these?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you

According to Audiovox, there is only one Ign and one Acc wire. KeySense note follows

Battery          YELLOW          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1          RED / GREEN          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 1          GREY / YELLOW          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1          GREEN          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
     Anti-Theft Type          TRANSPONDER
Anti-Theft Descript          THE KEY SENDS AN RF SIGNAL TO THE BCM MODULE THROUGH AN ANTENNA LOCATED AROUND THE IGNITION CYLINDER
Key Sense          LIGHT GREEN/ VIOLET          (-)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Neutral Safety          WHITE/ RED          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Tachometer          FUEL INJECTOR          (AC)          ANY UNCOMMON WIRE COLOR AT ANY INJECTOR
Crankshaft Sensor          GRAY          (AC)          AT PCM MODULE
Camshaft Sensor          GRAY/RED          (AC)          AT PCM MODULE
Speed Sense          DARK BLUE / YELLOW          (AC)          PIN 26 AT BCM 32 PIN PLUG
Parking Lights          BROWN          (+)          HEADLIGHT SWITCH
Brake Lights          GREEN          (+)          BRAKE SWITCH
Reverse Lights          BLACK/ PINK          (+)          DRIVERS DOOR SILL HARNESS OR TRAILER CONNECTOR
Horn          YELLOW /GREEN          (-)          IGNITION SWITCH
Anti Theft RX          WHITE/ LIGHT GREEN          (+)          AT PATS MODULE
Anti Theft TX          GRAY/ORANGE          (-)          AT PATS MODULE

Note on Key-Sense wire reads: THERE IS A BLACK/ PINK LOCATED IN THE IGNITION HARNESS THAT MUST BE "OPENED" WITH A RELAY DURING REMOTE START. THIS IS A "KEY-LATCH" WIRE(NEGATIVE PULSE). WHEN ACTIVATING"QUICK-STOP" OR "7-ELEVEN" MODE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY.

The relay info for the above BLACK/ Pink wire is as follows.

86 gets constant power
85 goes to ground out while running wire of your remote start unit.
You need to cut the BLACK/ Pink wire in the harness. One end goes to terminal 30 of the relay. The other end of the wire connects to terminal 87A. Anytime the vehicle is remote started the relay will energize and break the connection of the BLACK/ pink wire, this will allow you to remove the key while remote started. I have no idea if it will eleminate your light problems.

It took me a few days to get back on this project.  I appreciate the response.  I am going to put the relay in the "key latch" wire this afternoon, so hopefully that will solve all the issues.  Thanks again!
