I looked at your link, the spec looks good and the price ($499) looks a quality product, trouble is what's the quality like and they don't mention range do they? If I saw a wiring diagramme I might have a better idea. The siren looks generic but then don't they all.

Are you the new management? If not, why would I need to contact you for details? ------------- Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.

Looked at the diagram, interesting lock arrangement, but it does seem pretty pro. Would still like to get my hands on one to get a "feel" for it. (Compare G5 to G4 Clifford and you will realise what I'm getting at.) Still no mention of frequency or range.

If the details are not made for public consumption, then he shouldn't offer those details to the public. Either way, I know the issues regarding unathorized North American sales of that manufacturer. ------------- Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.

liquidaudio_ss,
It's best when sharing an eBay link on a forum to just post "Item Number ####" or something like that. For whatever reason the URLs don't copy well.

I've installed many of the prostar alarms in the past with no problems, the prostar gold ogled remote is cool. I've been currently installing the syctek alarms but are currently having shipping issues with our distrubitor. Started using prestige again.

I've done several of the 9100's and haven't had any problems with them. The TX Is awesome although a little bulky. I love the fact that it is rechargeable. The range is great.
I also install scytek stuff. The only problem I've really seen with their stuff , is bad antennas right out of the box. If I had to choose between these two brands, the audiovox wins hands down.

Yeah, That should be dead giveaway. I also looked for info, and the only thing I could find was that the company is based out of Malaysia. IMO, there is no way I would spend that much money on something that there is no info on. The chances of being able to get any tech support on the product are slim to none, so if it is bad right off the bat...you are stuck with a paper weight.

the crimefighter piece is similar to the prostar, prostar is out dated and the crimefighter is based on a similar platform but new changes have been made, it is very well built, on board 40amp relays for the main harness, the thing weighs more than any other alarm/starter on the market, dual 20amp fused pk light outputs (euro vehicles vw), will work on voltage mode, tach sensing, oil sensing and will work on propane vehicles, will work on standard or automatic vehicles, built in 10amp trunk release, built in 5 wire door locks (positive, negative or reverse polarity) no more adding a ton of relays for certain applications, if anyone is serious about getting one i am available for any technical support or questions, i apologize for the delay and vagueness of my previous responses, i needed to finish some paperwork before i could blurt out any answers, I have been a compustar dealer forever and now almost half of my customers want theirs pulled and this installed, yes it is very new on the market but from what i have experienced it is a solid piece. there are 3 more pieces coming available shortly, add on security to OEM system and a monchrome lcd version.
