Depending on your alarm, R/S, or K/S; it could be programmed for a latched output, to operate the strobes directly or through a relay.

-------------
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

Programme the aux 1output to latched,  then it will work off your remote control.  The only way  with a push button would be to add a latching relay,  but then you'd need another push button to defeat it.  Of course there's another answer its called an on-off switch.

First question,  1N4001 or anything between there and a 1N4007.

Second question,  your strobe lights

The relay setup does work.  It sounds to me as though Howie is sure that your alarm system is capable of a latched output.  It just seems much easier to program your alarm instead of spending 30 or more minutes building the relays.

Well you would have to use a relay either way you go.  You could use this switch to trigger a relay to control the lights.  Howie can tell you how to program your alarm if you can not find your book.  If you need help with the relay let us know.

Yes, send wire to relay 85, 12v+ sourced fused at whatever the lights require, if they want 7.5amps, make the fuse 10amps join to 86 and 87, send output from relay 30 to lights.
