I'm bent on hell to find the brown all door trigger. I have the lower panel off and I can see the wire bundle going to the gages. Is it in this bundle? I can't see the cable set that heads off to the  windshield pillar A.

Once I do find this, do I hook it directly to the alarm's neg trigger wire or do I need a relay to isolate?

Thanks thanks thanks!

Hey Charles, the BROWN wire is found in the B pillar and just hook up this wire to the (-) trigger door wire of the alarm.

the brownwire is in the "A" pillar winshield pillar . also if the panel under the steering wheel is off look up at the bottom of the guage cluster. on the left side there is a harness and the wire is in there . be careful there is another brown  wire with a very faint red tracer this is not the right wire. best way to test this wire is turn the domelights off with the dimmer and then back on to test the wire.

Yeah just pull the drivers side a-pillar and it's right in that harness..Just be careful when snapping that a-pillar back on. I did that truck not too long ago and I had to go back and check it. When I put the a-pillar back on it crushed my wire which made the domelights stay on all the time. Good luck,

Mike

thanks for the help. The easiest place is to remove the A pillar (2 bolts by the handle and pops off, lift up. No other trim needs to removed). This is easier than reaching it from below. Thanks for the tips...Audiovox had me looking at the B Pillar.

You may or may not have to diode isolate these wires, as there are usually separate triggers FOR EACH DOOR ..... another retarded evolution from the folks at Damlier-Chryslerposted_image.... thaks sooooooo much guys..... it also could depend on whether the truck is a 4-door modelbuit all triggers will still have a base color of tan... with whatever stripe they stick on it
