I've been working on a customers 04 Sequoia and I put on a DEI 561T and an XK05.. I've triple checked all my wires and everything is hooked up exactly as it should be. I grounded the neutral safety wire, hooked up the IMO and IMI wires... etc.. when I punch lock twice on the factory key fob it will not start... it powers up, and just continually cranks until i hit the brake.

What could it be guys? if you have any other questions about what wires I have where just let me know...The customer needed his car back and plans on bringing it back monday to finish up.. So I cannot test anything until then, but i'm trying to get the problem narrowed down...

ok seqoia's are know to have a transponder system check to make sure that your bypass is working,if so check to see if your tach wire is hooked up,some alarm systems have a voltage sensor and will stop cranking if they see a voltage increase or a tach signal.

the tach and bypass are fine. I tested those earlier... its like its not sending voltage to the iginition wires... the directed rep I talked to is convinced its a bad module..

also check that the alarm system is not set to diesel mode if available....

I dont think it would crank like it is if it was set as "wait to start"

one idea is to hot wir the car manually if it starts with you hard wiring it the your job is done it the brain but if it does'nt the check your transponder unit, ive installed many of these in the newer tundras and it has to be right on the plastic around the key cylinder if its not it wont run at all.

I suggest you use a DEI transponder bypass that should fix the problem.I've tried others and they dont work as well plus , you dont want the customer coming back, but let him know he has to sacrifice a key.

just so you know. It was the ignition wire on the bypass module. I had it tied into the yellow ignition on the alarm. I moved it over onto the main ignition wire and it fired right up. I'm retarded.
