This is my second Viper 3002 in my TC. The first one was replaced by Directed Electronics recently because there was an issue with the two-way paging system. Now my second unit is doing the same thing. I was wondering if anyone knew of an easy / known fix for this.

Whenever I would lock or unlock my car, the alarm activates / deactivates and the doors are locked / unlocked, but the pager does a series of two beeps (similar to that of the "out of range" beeps). Is the pager bad? I've tried a new transmitter but that did not fix it. I really do not want to call Directed and sit on the phone for an hour and be without my alarm for weeks.

Any suggestions?

if you've tried a new transmitter and the problem is still there then it's likely that's not your problem, have you checked your page notification to see if it's on or off, could also be a bad antenna i've seen it already, if all else fails, disconnect the battery from the car and the antenna from the brain and leave it for about 15mins or so and see what happens, oh and read my screen name underneath.
