i find that i cannot re-flash most of the Optimax modules i have in stock. I have the Bootloader 2 but when i plug in an Optimax module PKALL they dont see the module and just say no module connected. This happens on both computers i use at work. My XK modules flash fine.. i am running Express VIP 3.1 with the latest firmwares (02/20/09) i have also tried to flash with the older VIP 2.9....
when i plug in a DLPKGM it sees the module and says version 1.0 but when i look for updated firmware it says the only firmware is 1.0, yet the bypass kit website says it is now at version 3.3
anyone else have this issue? any ideas?

does you computer see the xkloader 2
when you program the
xk pieces is that with the original loader or with your new xkloader
do you have a fortin programmer
if you do give it a try as both of those pieces are fortins
also make sure the programmer has the latest updates
yes the computer sees the XK loader...it flashes XK modules fine, but when i plug in the "fortin" modules it either doesnt see them plugged in at all or else it doesnt show any updates available.... yet the website says there are many updates in the firmware.... the XK loader 2 is not updateable that i know of.... i dont have a true Fortin updater...

Kevin,
PKALL not recognized by the Optimax software: The PKALL needs to be connected to the black connector at its back to be flashed, not at the front white like every others.
DLPKGM versions: I just tried myself with the same result. I’ll look with the bypass team why this happen.

on xpresskits site it does show firmware updates
i would think that there is a software problem
at the bottom of the screen, there's an Optimax button that will close the xpresskit window and open an optimax window to flash the modules. does that button work?
this post was from Feb, and they had some issues then, which have been worked out....
