Dumb question here...

I'm going to buy an alarm at Good Guys. They sell DEI, Viper, Clifford, etc. These are all made by DEI right?

Anyway, I want the DEI 6500 but I can't find any info on the web about it. I go to Directed.com but they don't have a link pointing to alarms with the actual name DEI, they only have Viper, etc.

Anyone know where I can find this?

dei owns all of those companines including hornet, wasp, etc. even some car audio companies such as A/d/s, orion etc. Iam guessing that maybe the DEI 6500 is probably a phyton 6500 or somewhere along those lines. Goto their site and brose every catagory and look for a 6500.

I think you are talking about the DEI Sidewinder 6500. Same thing (just about) as a Viper 550 or Python 1500. Avital (before they were bought by DEI) had an Avistart 6500 (which I have), but it is no longer made.
