Left the unit in the trunk as well as my bitwriter for a couple days. Went to try to program the unit and would get to "reading unit" and seemed to freeze.  this normal?? Bitwriter is 2.5 and the alarm is the python 872 which is 2.5 compatible.

never mind. figured out that these new python have to see ground on the door trigger wire inorder to get to the program mode
