Take it back to the installer and confirm that they correctly hooked the parking light circuit as this vehicle requires a specific relay set up if they used a negative trigger. Eithier way it should go back to the installer to verify this.
If you did it yourself how did you hook up your parking lights, positive or negative?

Take the headlight switch apart and look for a burnt trace of foil somewhere.

So, you took it back twice today and he still didn't fix it? Did you bring the car back there with an appointment, or just show up at random?

Either way, they're the ones who should be fixing it for you.

However, if you want to use the search feaure here, search for "ford headlight switch." Many of us have burned out these switches, and one installer has told of a procedure to fix it.....although a new one is only around 30 dollars.

That sounds like a plan.  Research is always good.  I wish I knew something that would help you.  It's probably a bad relay.  I would check them all.

you need a meter or a relay tester. Harbor Freight sells them. They are on the aisle between the Pipe Stretchers and the Skyhooks.

Edit: They do not sell relay testers at harbor freight. Don't waste your time looking for one. But you might benefit from re-reading this entire thread. There MAY be a bit of helpful information that you have overlooked.

alias20874, I dug out some info regarding 2006 Ford Fusion headlamps stay ON after switch is OFF from Ford technical service bulletin (TSB 06-19-11)

I can email to you if you pm me your email address. If you know how to read schematics, I can also attach a few which will help you how to test the light switch.
