I have a Avital Avistart 5303 I just installed that has a neg output that comes when the remote start activates. I want to make the rear defroster come on but not 100% sure which wire to connect to. I posted a link to the wiring diagram. I think I should tie into the YELLOW /GREEN wire coming out of the switch.

YELLOW /GREEN @ the switch is correct.....

You need to test it to see if it's a latched, or pulsed signal....
