No you do not. Look at page 6 of the B/W installation manual and also page 2. There are built in relays for actuators and only 3 wires to connect for it to work.

Yes, the Acura/Honda vehicles use a (+) clutch activation. Use this link to help you out:

From the factory, the aladdin onboard relays rest at ground.

Ok here's my problem. I installed the alarm, everything is working. But I couldnt fine the clutch wire, I looked everywhere. Now when I push the clutch down for some reason...the car tries to start by itself without the keys. Then when I helped it by turning the key all the way the car started. Then it made that noise like I was trying to start when its already started. That went away went I took the clutch off. Then I couldnt turn off the car so I pressed on the T button on the remote and it turned off. The only thing I could think off is i forgot to cut the wire at the brain that chooses AT or MT. If there's any else let me know.

That happened to me with an different system tht I installed for a friend and I ended up not using the clutch activation wire and went straight from the starter to the clutcj wire. THe vehicle had a (+) clutch activation wire so it was easy to hook up the starter wire to this. The car does not require you to engage the clutch when you start but it also doesn't try to start the starter again after it has been running.

You have pic of the clutch interlock switch by any chance? I can't find mine...Does it look like the switch on top of the brake pedal?

The clutch activation wire is located on the clutch arm. If you have cruise there will be one on the top of the arm and one of the bottom of the arm. Use the one on the top for your clutch activation wire. It will need a (+) to engage when started.

Nope no wires at all. Matter of fact I can't even find the clutch wires. And here's the bad news, when I got the car to start. The brain made some constant beep and I smelled like burning. I guess I just fried the control unit. Is there anything I can do? Why caused it?

Contact the people that sold it to you and ask for warranty on the CPU. They should give you warranty on it.

Yeah everything still works, but the brain has this constant beep. I just unplugged everything because I couldnt drive the car. Everytime I would push in the clutch while the car is on, the starter would start making noise. I dont know why the clutch is acting like that, there's no wires running to it???

Would you mind posting the wire colors on the car which were attached tot he Aladdin  ? This way we can help you with the wiring aspect of it instead of trying to grasp at air.

this is for 91 Acura Integra Rs

Power Input P6 Red and RED / White -------> white and WHITE/ black

Ground P6 Black -----> Chassis

Starter Output P6 White --------> black and white

Ignition P6 Yellow ---------> BLACK / YELLOW

Heater P6 Blue ------> blue/white <--- i think my mistake is here, that wire is the 2nd ignition wire

Door Inputs P10 Blue (-) -----> pin switch at the door

Hood Input P10 Green (-) ------> pin switch under the hood

Trunk P10 Yellow (-) ------> GREEN/ black wire by the trunk

ACC P10 Pink (+) ------> yellow

Brake P10 White (+) -----> GREEN / WHITE

Tach P10 Gray/Black -----> blue/white at the dist

Glow Plug P10 Orange --------> didnt connect

Aux Start P10 Violet ------> didnt connect

Horn P10 Brown ------> siren

Starter kill P9 Orange ------> orange wire on the starter kill relay

Extra IGN P9 Gray --------> 87>30a fuse 12v
                   87a
                   85 P6 Yellow
                   30 blue/white
                   86>P9 Gray
I used the 2nd diagram: second ignition to install that.

Start Assist P9 White ------> didnt connect

Transponder Control Output P9 White -------> didnt connect

Factory disarm P9 WHITE/ Blue ---> didnt connect

Re-lock P9 Brown -----> didnt connect

Power Door Lock P9 Green, Blue, RED / black ----> didnt connect

Parking Lights P3 Yellow -----> RED / green

Starter Interrupt 86> Ignition (BLACK / YELLOW)
           87a> start (BLACK/ white)
           87>
           86> P9 Orange
           30> start (BLACK/ white)

Heres how it went out, when installed the alarm worked fine (arm/disarm/trigger). When I went to start the car and pushed the clutch in, the car tried to start but didnt turn over until I put the key in start. I couldnt shift gears because everytime I would press the clutch the starter would make noise (like when ure trying to start thats already started). I couldnt also turn the car off. I pressed the 'E' button and the car shutoff. Now the brain has a constant beep but the alarm is working fine, I can't get into programming mode though.

I had this happen to me once ( beofre I ever found this forum ) and the only way I fixed it...was the long and hard way...undo all the wires in the ignition harness and redo them one by one...since I know what a pain that is...I hope to god someone has a clue to help you out...but if all else fails...go through it wire by wire...

Is it a beep or a clicking ? The clciking is normal because it's the internal timer that keeps the time aligned with the remote for timed remote starts. I found some problems with your wiring though. Change these and see if it helps:

  • ACC P10 Pink (+) ------> yellow  is supposed to go to the P6 BLUE wire
  • Tach P10 Gray/Black -----> blue/white at the dist  - is suppose to be the BLUE wire at the distributor
  • Also, if you have the system in MANUAL mode it is expecting to be placed in ready mode prior to remote starting. Does the car require you to press the clutch in prior to start ?

The beep is a constant beep, no stopping. And yeah I gotta press the clutch to start the car. I'll try to correct these problems I hope that stops the beep. Thanks Jeff. Ever had that beep problem b4?

Never had that beep problem before. The only beep that I hear is when I program the communication module. Other than that there should only be a faint ticking from the CPU.

Heater P6 Blue ------> blue/white is this one correct though?

if thats correct then where does Extra IGN P9 Gray go to?

Posted By: Velocity Motors

P6 should be going to YELLOW on the harness. The BLUE/WHITE is your second ignition wire. You need to wire in a relay to convert the (-) signal of P9 GRAY to a (+) for the 2nd Ign.
