I got the Python 1401 remote start syste: https://www.pythoncarsecurity.com/products/product.aspx?Productid=617. Several times in the manual it states that the remote will beep (in addition to horn honk) during certain functions. It even tells how to turn the beep on and off. However, my remote doesn't beep at all. I've tried the programming and can't get it to beep. Also, it doesn't say whether or not the beep is exclusive to the 2-way version or not, so I don't know if it is. Anyone have any info on this?

Now that I realize, that PDF manual says nothing about the remote beep. However, my actual physical manual that came in the box does. Maybe it's a revision?

1-way remotes don't beep. The Python 580 system uses a 2-way remote and it will beep.
