We have done these cars in our shop before with no problems(2004 V6 Mustang). This is the first time we are having this issue.

Once you put the vehicle in ready mode and shut the drivers door, the vehicle shuts off like it should. You are then able to remote start for up to 30-40 minutes but after that if you try to remote start then we get XX Flashes on the main module which is telling us that a door has opened and canceled the sequence. We used both the drivers door and passenger door pin and diode isolated. So to eliminate some thing I cut the diode out and simply hooked directly to the drivers door pin with out hooking up the passenger door pin. Same issue.

I threw another manual trans interface kit in there and waited 45 minutes, same problem.

How did you isolate the door triggers from the system? You would actually need to use 2 diodes per door trigger.

Computer is going to sleep, you lose your door pin, may have to switch from the negative door pins input to the positive dome light,

+ 1, i fi remember, the bcm on these cars send a pulse to ensure doors are locked/closed. If your unit senses a groud pulse(door open) then the start sequence is canceled.

Yes, Tedmond, you are correct. These cars are notorius for falsing because of this. What he needs to do, is cut the door trigger wire in half. Install a diode inline...cathode side to the door latch.  Then install a diode inline to the door trigger wire of the alarm, or in this case, remote start. This diode needs to places on the cathode side of the diode you already put on the cars door trigger already. Do this on both door triggers, if you are using both. Essentially all it is doing is blocking the negative pulses from the bcm, but still allowing you to get a negative trigger from the doors itself. I have a diagram somewhere.....ill see if i can find it. Easier than reading my rambling.
