Hey all first post on the boards here, I am primarily an Audio guy, but i work in engineering (broadcast) so when Girlie asked if i could install her new Viper 5901 into her new Fj Cruiser, i figured sure why not.
Just posting up to see what i missed/ still need this is what ive got so far from testing, and iam still lost, allot.
Primary harness:
1/1: Red white -> Blue yellow BECU25 pin, pin 13
1/2: red -> (30A) BlueBlack ingnition
1/3: Brown -> (Red to siren)
1/4: whiteBrown -> Green on BCEU (Either pin 8 or 28)
1/5: Black -> Ground
1/6: violet -> None
1/7: Blue -> White BECU middle pin 7
1/8: Green -> Purp / YELLOW BECU top pin 12
1/9: BlackWhite -> White Fuse box 20 pin connector pin 8
1/10: WhiteBlue -> (i dont know where this goes...)
1/11: White-> Green in the BECU bottom pin 28
1/12: Orange -> ( Dont know if anyhting needs this)
Harness 2:
2/1 Light GREEN/ Black ->(disarms with door locks so unnecessary right)
2/2 LightGREEN / WHITE -> Same ^^^^^ ?
2/3 WHITE/ Violet -> None
2/4 VioletBlack -> none
2/5 WHITE/ Black -> None
2/6 Light Blue -> none
2/7 Gray Black -> none
2/8 Brown Black -> GreenRed on horn switch
Harness 3 (the big guage)
3/1: Pink -> BLACK/ Red
3/2: RED / White -> Blue Yellow
3/3: Orange -> White Green
3/4: Violet -> Idk where the starter output is yet
3/5: Green -> Blue Yello (i think)
3/6: Red -> ?
3/7: Pink/White -> ?
3/8: Pink/Black -> ?
3/9: RED / Black -> ?
3/10: NC
Remote start harness
1: BLACK/ White -> Ground (automatic tranny)
2: Violet/White -> BLACK/ White from data connector under dash Pin 9 (ac)
3: Brown -> GREEN/ YELLOW Fusebox 16 pin pin16
4: Gray -> No hood pin
5: Blue/White -> None
Remote Aux out Harness
1: Pink/White -> ?
2: Orange -> ?
3: Violet -> ?
4: Pink -> ?
5: Blue -> ?
Any one installed one of these on an FJ? i could really use a hand iam s little lost lol.

You need to determine whether it has an immobiler key or not and if so you need a bypass for it. I know trhe 2008 has it standard on all models so yours probably does too. You can either get a key box and install your valet key in it or get a programmable bypass so you don't loose a key. The FJ has two starter wires so you will need to energize the second starter.
I can say by just breifly looking at what you have above you are not very correct with the wires. Looking at the satilite relay wires you have most wrong. Here's the correct ones...
Red>WHITE/ blue-12volts
RED / white>blue/black-12volts
pink>blue / YELLOW-ignition 1
pink/white>BLACK/ red-ignition 2
orange>WHITE/ green-accessory
purple>BLACK/ white-starter 1(you need to cut this wire and attach the purple to the car side)
green>BLACK/ white-starter 1(green goes to the key switch side)
Starter 2 is GREEN/ black and needs to be energized thru a relay during crank.
You also need to apply ground while running to the keysense wire if it has a factory alarm. To do this you attach the blue wire on the last harness you list to the GREEN/ YELLOW keysense wire.
I haven't done a Viper in years and don't remember a lot of the wires listed, but 1/7 is a trunk wire and isn't needed as the green wire attached to the purple / YELLOW will do all doors. 1/10 and 1/12 not needed. The pink/black and RED / black may program as a second starter, not sure.

RED / black powers the Crank/Acc relay and needs to be powered... pink/black is an isolation wire and not needed...
