I have an excalibur remote on a 200 chevy impala.....it worked great until the battery went dead (on the starter not the car) I have no paperwork for it......can anyone help?

Obviously a rookie!!! Let me rephrase that....the remote started the vehicle everytime until the battery went dead ( on the remote) i replaced it and everything works except the car dosent turn over ...2000 chevy impala excalibur remote ......no paperwork......any help would be appreceiated.

Hello guys....could someone tell me if I am doing something improper by asking for help on this board?.........I see I have around 40 views and no answers.........I am not electrnically inclined so I thought i would ask all of you.....the experts. Please  if anyone can shoot me some advice I would be very thankful.

  we need more info. nobody can tell you anything from just "Excalibur remote". we need a model number of the r/s unit that was installed, you will need to get under the dash to where its at and try to find us that info off of it. and even then you might not get a response because there arent too many guys on here that use or install Omega products.

I install Omega products but we need more info before we can help. The best thing is to find the module and let us know what you have. Another option is to, but not always reliable, is to post a pic of your remote. Or open up the remote and post up the number that is on the circuit board. Do you have problems starting the car with the key? How many times does the R/S try to start the car? Do the lights flash when an attempt is made by the R/S? If yes, how many times does it flash? This is a start and we can go from here.
