I am installing a trunk solenoid in my acura this weekend, and want to also use my alarm remote to open the trunk. Im a bit confused about the relays. The wire from the alarm to trigger the trunk is -negative so i need a relay to convert it to a positive pulse?, Do i need any other relays? or Just connect the trigger wire from the alarm into the positive wire that goes the solenoid so i can use my remote to trigger it? :S

Wire thus, grounded wire to switch, switch output join to trunk output from alarm, possibly diode each before the join with the diode bands towards the alarm and switch. (To protect alarm's output stage) Take joined wire to 85 on relay, 86 and 87 to pos source fused at whatever solenoid manufacturer says, sorry I couldn't open the link, take to solenoid from relay 30 and ground other side of solenoid. Good luck with the positioning. I did exactly this on my Galant by cutting off the existing manual cable and joining.
