I posted this aleady but I may have confused the subject so forgive me!

Does anyone know what model this is?  the only markings is has is the FCC number & seriel number on it . Apparently it's a DEI model as is uses the 2/66 remotes at least from a few google searchs I did.

More curious than anything, the one I have I pulled out of 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee when I assumed it had nothing alreadyinstalled when I went to install a Viper 1400XP.

The FCC ID has nothing to do with the model number of the remote. On the back, there should be a 3 digit number followed by a letter, for example 474v, 473v, etc. It will also be helpful if you knew the model of the remote start or alarm. You can contact DEI to get a listing of compatible replacement remotes.

I'm attempting to identify the model of the actual control box that I removed not the keyless remotes for it;  the black square control box which I removed is void of any model number markings other than the serial number and a FCC number (the serial number is on a white sticker and the FCC is stamped on the actual black box.

The black square control "brains" box has 2 two wire connecters which I presume is a programing/valet switch and hood kill switch, a main large terminal block which only had 2 wires off it  connected, one which was to a constant 12 volts and the other to ground.   The second harness with 8-12 smaller wires which 4 wires on it were connected (very poorly) to the front door locks which one pair of these  wires had a broken connection which caused the power door locks to not work until I took those out and wired the factory door locks back properly (on the new system I install a 455T to control the door locks as this vehicle was a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee). Oh and there was a single black wire coming out of the control box which I'm fairly sure is the antenna. 

I simpley desire to know what DEI model this keyless entry is. From searching the internet, I found others asking the same question as they discovered the same non-labeled control box on their newly purchased used vehicles, One person I found stated he had the DEI 2/66 remotes that operated it but was having problem with the remote start not shutting down and he was trying to figure out what model it was based on the model number of the remotes and this same FCC number off the the control box. All I have to go on at this time is that it's a DEI system, uses DEI remotes and is at least 11 years old.

Should I rephrase my question to ask when did DEI make and sell keyless entry/remote starts units that bore no model number on the main control box?
