The immobilizer should be the easy part.

How did you get it to remote start? I thought no one had been able to get a 2009 to work yet.

I heard of the samething too but i gave it a shoot and got it to remote start after two days of work .  There is module yet so i made one out of three relays and solder on to the WIN  and had to use the universal transponder  to bypass immobilizer

So far, you're the only one (at least online) who's been successful.

Details? Pictures?

the  expresskit line has the new chrysler gen II can bus .  part # is PKcan   or dlpkki ch3  for 09 and up chryslers . it also works stuff like the door locks and sometimes the gas door lid and trunk depending on the vehicle.

I'm about to install a rs/alarm combo in a 09 dodge ram quad cab. From what I've heard, an ib-uch2x should do the trick. I'm not sure about soldering anything to the ign. board. Just so long as the mux wire is hooked up it should work, right?

If it has the smart keys there will be no MUX wire its a module that has to be taken apart and wire have to be soldered to pins on the circuit board. These keys are on 08 quite a few 08 and up chrysler vehicles including the caravans. We have been pushing them away at my shop because none of want to be responsible for messing up the ignition module....doubt that things cheap lol.

ah, no doubt, is anyone coming out with a module to do it without soldering?

So has anyone herd the fact that a can-sl2 will work with the 09 ram?  when i spoke with fortin thats what they confirmed ?! or should i just see if i can get one in my shop and tear it apart?

answered my own question more research reviled that the the can sl2 will only do door locks, the new eta is end of summer for the 09 dodge ram bypass,  does anyone have a way to fake it without a bypass?

I'm not touching it, it's not worth it, I'll wait for the data bus solution.

so it is just the half tons that cannot be done because friday i did a 3/4 ton looked like the 2008 old style keys and i used a duo-can2 and it worked, i dont know for sure but is it only the half tons that have the new body style and new keys? and has anyone been brave enought to take a chrysler dealership starter kit (the plug and play version) and mess with it to accomidate our aftermarket starters or is that just crazy talk? it has to have a built in bypass

Why don't you go with the iDatalink modules.

ADS-AL CA, it,s a known product and it does ALL the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Plymouth vehicles using only one key to program, no WIN module modifications, no ring, all by data and the coverage is from 1999 to 2010 vehicles.

If you don't have the Weblink to flash your module, ask your distributor to flash it for you or you can by the ADS-ALOM CA preloaded.

Regards!

Yes, I finally too managed to do a combo in one. It's a quad cab with the 5.7 Liter. We use Omega starters so, I used an OL-AL(MDB)-ALL with the CH4 Firmware. I couldn't get it to program correctly with the DBI cord so I had to use the standard wiring mode. All in all it works with some minor bugs, but it starts. I had to run it as tachless even though there is a tach output on the bypass, the parking lights aren't really working off of the alarm/start combo, but rather the factory security but the result is similar. Those issues are minor but erksome. I really wish that the DBI plug would have worked as designed, saving valuable time and energy, and producing a cleaner, more professional installation, but, after flashing it with that option engaged, and hooking up the bypass, it would not program. The Omega intall guide contradicts itself and adds a few wires that aren't supposed to be hooked up, but this 2 year old bypass is new to them, and publishing faulty, incomplete, and misleading installation manuals is kind of their thing. From what I've been told the software for this and other like vehicles with the Tip Start system just came out about a month ago, so glitchy it may be. The important thing is that it works, and just remember be kind to yourself and each other.

I finally got in a EVO-CHR and put it in my 09 Ram SL. Used an Avital 4100 ibstall literally took 20 minutes. The tach output programmed. The only wires you have to hook to the vehicle are 12 Volts I just tied into the trailer brake controller thats 30 amps,  ground for the RS,Parking lights, and a hood pin as my truck had no factory one. PK lights I just went to pin 30 on the factory relay under hood. Very impressed with this module.
