Did a 2009 scion xB the other day, and everything was correct except the door locks. All sources state

Power Unlock          PINK          (-)          IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL
THIS WIRE REQUIRES A DOUBLE PULSE
PowerLock          LIGHT BLUE          (-)          IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL

None of these wires tested with the switch, so i started probing every wire coming out of the door. Found that dark blue and yellow were direct negative from the switch.

Problem is, customer states that the alarm randomly doesnt respond, and then he used the factory remote to unlock, which set the alarm off. He couldnt get the alarm to respond, but finally it did. Also, now sometimes the factory fob only beeps and flashes the lights. It doesnt operate the locks. Everything seems to be fine. Switch always works, i assume nothing is messed up. I got a feeling this has a 3rd child safety wire. Any advice guys? Any other ways to find the correct blue and pink wires?

Test with the key IN THE DOOR, not the switch!
