Just finished installing an Autostart 6850-TW-FM 2 way starter alarm combo into a 06 Ford F350 Super Duty. Everything functions fine (start, stop, lock, unlock) except the transmitter is not receiving a start confirmation and runtime counter on the LCD display. Any ideas what could be going on here? Tach programming seemed to work good, tried reprogramming the transmitter as well. The other problem is, when i press the unlock button, the following comes up on the display, Alarm, 0:00, Hood. The doors still unlock but i cant figure out why it displays this. Autostart seems to be a good product, but their install instructions are getting a little more vague as the years go by.

Try a complete reset, (flash hoodpin, press brake 8x?) remove transmitter battery and reprogram. Dosen't work might be defective.
