I have an 1994 Integra 4dr. I bought this car used and there is an alarm system installed. However, the system doesn't work properly. I am not sure if it's stock. But I don't believe it is. The alarm is a Clifford and the remove I use has the FCCID of CZ57RRTX3L.

I plan to remove and install it. I was wondering if I should use the same wiring. The alarm horn needs to be reinstalled as it doesn't work.

I was wondering how to remove it safely and reinstalling it. Possibly reusing the same wires as the old system.

Can anyone recommend a good but inexpensive alarm system?

I don't have much experience in installing car alarms but given good instructions, I have confidence I can do it. I did install a deck which I thought was very easy with lots of research done on my part.

Thanks!

I want to make it clear as I didn't in my OP that I want to remove the current alarm and replace it with a new alarm system.

The old alarm will have completely different wiring colours and sensors, none of which would be compatible. The best bet is to trace the wiring back and solder your wires from the old to the new. As an example the older sirens had a fused + side and had a neg feed from the alarm brain, now it's the other way round. Really you should completely remove and start again, even the remotes won't be compatible.
