Ok I have a 95 civic lx and I bought a 2w900FMR with the cm5000 brain and the gray turbo timer remote.

Everything is installed and I get reservation mode to work.  RS works everything works.

I am trying to program the remote for the turbo timer.

The instructions say press 1+2 for 2.5 sec then 1+4 for 2.5 sec,

then tap 4 to scroll to the option and press 1-4 to select which option you want.

the p-lights should flash for the number of the option you choose.

So I hold 1+2 then hold 1+4 and the lights flash

I press 4 twice to get to option 2 and then press 2 so get the two minute trubo timer.

Then nothing happens,  should flash two times right?  The siren will sound but the lights do not flash twice.

Is the key supposed to be on?

I tried pressing 3+4 to put the remote in turbo timer mode but all I get is the query feature.

Do I have to start the car put it in reservation mode and then press 3+4 to get turbo timer mode?  I tried that and the car just dies?

I'm gonna pull my hair out.

If I buy the programmer can I program the turbo timer or is it just for the special features?

After you get into programing mode you go to option two you have to wait for the park lights to flash this confirms which option you are in then press the button to select which option you want this got me at first to :)

Right so

1+2 the 1+4 will enter programing mode and lights should flash

Then press 4 twice and should have a flash which means you are in option 2

Then I would want to press 2 so it will run the turbo for 2 minutes

Should comfirm by flashing twice right?  I dont get two flashes but I do get one chirp.

Then I try to press 3+4 to put into turbo mode and  I get nothing but query.

Does the key have to be on will programming?

Then press 4 twice and should have a flash which means you are in option 2

"right here wait a few seconds and you will get park light confirmation that you are in that option once you get two flashes then press number 2 again to select turbo option"

Then I would want to press 2 so it will run the turbo for 2 minutes

Thanks to you I figured it out.  I wasn't getting the flash after pressing the 4 because I didn't wait long enough.

So you said wait and I did now my timer works.  Thank  you for the input.

But I will need the programmer so I can change one of the outputs to a latched so I can run the defroster though right?
