My lesabre has the passkey 2 system, in the begining the security light would stay on when the car would start, the car woud run fine and I never had any issues with it but then the car would start to die off and on. the the other day it just would not start at all, so I have replaced the ignition switch with a new one and now the car starts but the security light is still on. is there any place I can find out how to trouble shoot this issue I am going out of town soon and would like to fix it before I go.

Did your new Ignition switch come with new keys as well...You have to have the correct resistance going to the bcm for the light to shut off

No it didn't come with new keys, however I did get new GM keys made with the correct chip. the car runs I am just worried that if there is still something wrong it may cause me issues on our trip
