I'm having random failed starts only with the remote. The vehicle will start but continue cranking. I believe it is cause by the accessory power not being turned on. The tach wire is tapped into the back of the instrument cluster and when the vehicle fails to start the cluster does not light up. When it starts normally the lights come back on after cranking. While failing I can put the key in and it will stop the cranking and continue running normally. I can also hear the relays click twice when it starts normally, and only once before cranking and nothing after. Anyone have any ideas? This only happens one in ten times.

Check the ign output from the R/S. Also check the R/S fuses.
