04 pilot rs to key dies

Hey all hoping to get some ideas on a minor nuisance I'm having after a recent Compustar upgrade. 2004 Pilot had 2WSS installed previously with no issues. Changed out to 2WFM everything works great.

The problem is now when I switch between remote start and starting with the key the car dies the first time using the key. Will remote start first try all day long. I can start it with the key all day long but if I remote start the vehicle and then either let the timer expire or kill it with the remote and then get in and start it with the key, it starts and runs for a brief second then dies. Second try with the key usually starts it right up. The fix that I have found is that if I turn the key to ACC and wait for a few seconds the problem does not happen switching between remote and key starting and the vehicle starts up on the first try.

Starter kill and anti-grind relays installed. Factory disarm no unlock hooked up. Bypass module installed with full key. CM3000 brain.

What's getting me is with a key there's never a no start. With the remote there's never a no start. It's only between the remote start to key start that this happens.

Programming? Wiring? Any ideas/suggestions?

Does the immobilizer indicator on the dash do anything irregular during the no-run condition? Maybe the ground when running (status output wire) from the remote start is staying active after the remote start shuts down? Since I am not too familiar with compustar, does it offer two status wires or just one? If it is just one, did you diode isolate the status wire when you hooked up the status to both keysense in the vehicle and to the bypass?

Good call, thanks for replying. Did some digging and somehow was on the 2nd ignition out for a ground. Switched over to status and it fixed the no start. Thanks again.
