So .. this unit won't let you UNLOCK... REMOTE START .. THEN RELOCK AFTER SUCCESSFUL START?

What's the setting for that -- not clear in the menu 1, 2, or 3, and i'd be pretty surprised if this wasn't a feature of this r/s brain.

thx

I believe it will, if you have "ignition-controlled locks"(menu 1, sub-menu 5, option 2 or 3) enabled.

Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

connect the "factory alarm disarm" to your unlock wire in the vehicle (use a relay if it's anything but a low current neg. trigger needed for unlock) then take the small gauge purple wire in the small green harness (200mA 2nd Starter Output) and connect it (again with a relay if needed)to your lock wire in the vehicle.

you can just use factory disarm and factory rearm wires just make sure the polarity is correct

another kelly is right but you need to put a diode in between the purple wire because it back feeds if you dont.
